Sophisticated material

Water Gradient Technology is behind the ingenious construction of the lens. The lens is made of a silicone-hydrogel material with a 55% water content in the core, followed by a hydrogel layer. The surface of the lens is therefore hydrogel and the water content is almost 100%. The soft hydrogel material thus comes into contact with the eyelids while the eye is sufficiently oxygenated via the silicone hydrogel core.
Another benefit is the Celligent technology, which was inspired by the biology of the human eye and acts as a protective shield against lipids and bacteria. In essence, it mimics the natural surface of the eye and its function.

Stability and precise correction

The design of toric lenses plays an important role in the correct correction of astigmatism. TOTAL30 for Astigmatism contact lenses are thinned at the 6 o'clock position. Oscillation of the lens during blinking is minimal.
Another important feature of the lenses is the PRECISION BALANCE 8|4® DESIGN. As the name of the design suggests, there are stabilization points at the 4 and 8 o'clock positions that keep the lens in the correct axis position.

Wearing mode

TOTAL30 for Astigmatism is a monthly silicone hydrogel lens with a daily wear mode.
The lenses should always be mechanically cleaned before bedtime and stored in a fresh batch of solution for regeneration. The following morning the lenses will be in perfect condition again, ready for further use.
The replacement period for new lenses is set at 30 days.

TOTAL30 for Astigmatism has a UV filter class 1. However, to ensure that the eye and the eye area are sufficiently protected, it is necessary to supplement the eye protection with suitable sunglasses. The lens surface only partially protects the eye.
